Marie Mott, JD, MS, RDN, CSSD, LDN, Escambia Administrator for the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), joins the Pensacola Expert Panel to discuss the importance of remaining vigilant with health and safety measures as our community works to reduce the spread of Covid-19 as well as Hepatitis A which is a known issue. Vaccinations for Hepatitis A are available without an appointment at FDOH Escambia locations. Marie encourages our community to continue properly wearing masks (ie, cover nose and mouth), practice social distancing, wash hands thoroughly, and get your flu shot. Drive Thru Flu shots will be available at the downtown FDOH on Wednesday 11/18/2020. Also available through the FDOH is the CDC's Type 2 Diabetes prevention program.
