The director of the Pensacola chapter of Valerie's House, Crista Brandt, joins the Pensacola Expert Panel to highlight recent recognition and support from our community as well as the growth that the organization has seen in the last 3 years. The mission of Valerie’s House is to help children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. Leadership Pensacola (LEAP) is transforming the outdoor space at the house by introducing appealing gardens, inspiring art installations, and safe play areas for the children and families that they serve. A grant from Impact 100 will fund a new kitchen area for the many dinner events scheduled regularly. Crista Brandt is also the recipient of the Pace Award for Advocate of the Year.
