Kelli Simpson joins the Pensacola Expert Panel to discuss ways to keep our beloved K9 friends safe and warm this Winter:  face the doghouse away from the direction of the wind / blankets, towels and dog beds can become wet and cold so use straw for a warmer isolation from the cold ground - "Hay is for Horses, but Straw is for Paws" / pitbulls and short-haired breeds have lower body fat percentage and need more insulation from the cold air / puppies cannot regulate their body temperatures like adult dogs do.
